HistoryKeep it Simple S______! This was and still is the philosophy of Integra Air Inc. right from the beginning. We didn't want to make the airline complex because it is simple. We are in the people business so the simplest thing to do is provide what the people want in an airline. Integra Air Inc. started in 1998 with one aircraft, a one room office, one desk, one phone and four very determined employees. The airline was founded on the concept of providing a better service between Lethbridge and the Alberta Provincial capital of Edmonton. The complaint heard by the founding partners was simple. Why can you not get a flight from Lethbridge to Edmonton for a one day meeting, leaving at a respectable time in the morning and returning home for dinner and time to put the kids to bed? The partners agreed and said you should be able to get a flight like this and took it one step further by flying back into the Edmonton Municipal Airport in downtown Edmonton. This direct non-stop flight became an instant hit with the business and government traveler. With the scheduled flights growing in popularity, Integra began to expand by adding its first charter aircraft. Charter flights were offered beginning in September of 1999 with a Piper Navajo aircraft with six seats in a corporate leather interior. The charter flights offered people the ability to fly direct non-stop to their destination anywhere in North America. Charter flights allowed the clients to fly on their schedule, increase their productivity, and save time and money. Today, Integra Air has expanded to offer different types of charter aircraft of different sizes, performance levels, and cost. This diversified fleet allows our companies to best meet our client’s needs. In 2003, Integra Air Inc. expanded into corporate and fractional aircraft management. As businesses grew onto the notion of charter and learned that corporate aircraft are not necessarily a luxury item, but are truly a business tool that allows them to use to grow and expand their businesses they saw the benefits of owning a corporate aircraft. The big problem with owning your own aircraft when you are not in the aviation industry is having the expertise to operate them safely and efficiently. Integra Air can provide you with the expertise to manage that aircraft for you to allow you to continue to focus on your business. If whole aircraft ownership is beyond your budgets, but the benefits of corporate aviation are a necessity for growing your business, then the Integra Air Inc. fractional ownership program is just for you. Enjoy the benefits at a fraction of the cost. As we move into the future, changes with the access to the Edmonton City Centre Airport has forced Integra Air to make changes to their scheduled flight service. After a lengthy battle with the Edmonton Regional Airport Authority regarding continued flights to the City Centre Airport, we have moved our service to the Edmonton International Airport in October of 2005. This change has also prompted the company to begin a new destination to Fort McMurray in the fall of 2006. We are excited about the new routes and the growth that Integra Air Inc. is experiencing over the next few years. We are proud to be Southern Alberta's airline and to be part of the communities that we serve. Thank-you for your continued support and we look forward to filling the history books for years to come. |
